Only time will tell whether the Obama administration’s decision to formally call out the clowns at FOX for what they are – propagandists for conservative/GOP interests – was a smart idea. I’ve heard, watched or read opinions all over the place on it…from all ends of the political spectrum.
Opinions ranged from Thom Hartmann calling the strategy crazy like a fox, to Charles Kraphammer wheezing mustily in the pages of the Washington Post that Obama’s seeking to deliberately undermine, delegitimize and destroy [FOX] is not Madisonian. It is Nixonian. (Better watch it, Chuckles, “Nixonian” is a compliment to most of the Beckerhead crowd)
But, as a commenter at another blog ably put it, do you want to know how I know the media is liberal? I know it because Rush Limbaugh told me so.
